FPGA Developer

We’re looking for a seasoned FPGA Developer to build hardware-accelerated solutions powering real-time systems that operate in one of the most competitive tech environments.

You’ll be joining the top quantitative trading company with HQ in Dubai. 200+ brightest minds in maths, quantitative analysis & engineering from around the globe develop proprietary quantitative trading systems behind a global portfolio of traditional & cryptocurrency exchanges.

The team is tech-driven & flat-structured, with engineers as core contributors – this isn’t a place where hardware is an afterthought. The founders are hands-on quants (top-10 of Kaggle) trading only with their own money; the company does not accept investments or external funds.

What will you do in this role?
  • Architect & implement FPGA designs that push the boundaries of latency & throughput.
  • Build high-speed pipelines for parsing protocols, market data processing & order flow.
  • Tune timing & resource usage to the edge of hardware capabilities.
  • Work closely with software and systems teams to integrate your hardware into a broader performance-critical stack.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and iterate on live systems running in production environments.

About you:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Confidence with FPGA design & debugging tools (e.g., Vivado, Quartus, SignalTap, ILA).
  • Solid understanding of performance tuning, latency measurement & real-time systems.

It’s also great if you have:

  • Experience with scripting or programming with TCL, C++, or Python.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, PCIe, or custom TCP/UDP stacks.
  • Experience in fast-paced tech environments – whether in trading, networking, or embedded systems.

Why this role?

  • Join a cutting-edge FinTech product with a strong global presence & a long-term expansion roadmap.
  • Work with the latest FPGA platforms & tools.
  • Contribute to the environment where hardware optimizations directly drive business results.
  • Collaborate with world-class team: top-tier FPGA talent, Kaggle competition leaders & a top-ranked C++ team.
  • Enjoy competitive pay & flexible remote setup with 40 paid days off per year.
